Humidity and rain chances continue to increase

A strong cold front will be moving through all of MI over the next 24 hours. Showers will die out during the evening followed by partly cloudy skies and low temperatures near 76 degrees. It will also be very humid tomorrow, so the heat index could exceed 105. The leftover storms coming through in the middle of the night have a hope of a few tenths of an inch of rain for Lower Michigan. The next chance of rain returns early next week. The biggest change will be a drop in humidity and overnight lows fall into the 50s.

The National Weather Service is predicting a 20 percent chance of rain and a high in the lower 80s for Monday. Signs point to these showers and storms falling apart before reaching the Indianapolis area. Not everyone will see constant rain, but it's likely that everyone will see some rain at some point. We lose the humidity by Friday through the weekend as sunshine takes hold, refreshing breezes move in and highs top out in the 70s. An isolated afternoon is possible, but once again most of the area will stay dry.

Saturday: Sunny high of 80. Today will be mostly sunny and warm.
