Samsung hasn't yet officially declared it, but reports tip the slate to launch on August 7 alongside the Note 10 phablets.

This news all comes from a 20 second teaser video on Samsung's website that doesn't outright confirm the Galaxy Watch Active 2's name, but the brief glimpses make it look similar to the last-gen watch. The tablet's quad speaker system is tuned by AKG and features Dolby Atmos technology.

Over on our sister site Laptop Mag, Henry T. Casey got hands-on with the Galaxy Tab S6, and came away impressed by Samsung's premium slate.

That battery sounds like a necessity when you consider that the Tab S6 comes with a 10.5-inch WQXGA SuperAMOLED display. Also, the Tab S6 will feature a groove on the back, the leaks revealed, that will house the new S Pen stylus - again, we had photos showing this feature as well. The Galaxy Tab S6 features a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a 7nm 64-bit Octa-core processor. While not quite 4K, it still manages to record 4K footage and even playback 8K material (downscaled by the screen) both at 30fps.

Samsung's also drawing attention to the dual camera array on the rear of the tablet - it's the first time an ultra-wide camera has been used in a tablet, but it's a far cry from the multiple-camera proposition of the company's flagship phone.

There's two configurations on offer - 6GB RAM with 128GB storage (in Mountain Grey and Cloud Blue), and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage (only in Cloud Blue). Interestingly, it's an optical reader instead of the ultrasonic tech that the Galaxy S10 uses.

To boost the productivity angle, there's a keyboard accessory and an improved version of the Samsung DeX software which allows you to dock the device with a monitor for a full PC-like experience based on its Android Pie OS. Samsung says it will be available online and in stores in late August in select markets. Samsung also plans on releasing an LTE model later in the year.
