Apple is moving onwards an upwards with its latest iPhone line up starting with this one. The iPhone 8 sees its starting price slashed to $450 for the 64GB model (this was previously the price for a 32GB iPhone 7), while the iPhone XR is down to $600. But first, here's what the internet had to say about the new triple-camera design (cue the memes).

"And with iPhone 11 Pro Max up to five hours longer in your day". In classic aluminum, you get three color options: silver, gold, and space gray. The Night mode also finds space in the iPhone 11. It will come in four colors, including a new "midnight green" finish, as well as the traditional white, black and gold.

The iPhone 11 Pro Max also has three cameras, but with a bigger screen.

Apple Watch Series 5 pricing starts at $399 for Global Positioning System models and $499 for cellular ones. We'll have to wait and see how much of an improvement the iPhone 11's battery really is.

The Cupertino, California-based technology giant made the announcement at a Tuesday event focused on new versions of the iPhone and Apple Watch. They include a built-in compass and current elevation tracking. That should help Apple better compete with Fitbit Inc.

The iPhone 11 will be available for preorder beginning Friday, September 13. Prices start at $399. It has a 10.2-inch retina display with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard Support.

You can also plug in external USB drives to view pictures and documents.

Local consumers can pre-order the phones at Apple's online retail store from 8 p.m., September 13 before the latest models hit stores in Taiwan on September 20.

It will be available across all devices via the App Store. No gaming service has offered that many games at launch. And, at launch, it will cost $4.99 a month for an entire family's subscription. In the past, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings has depicted the increased competition as a positive for everyone, allowing consumers to create their own entertainment bundles instead of accepting bundles put together at higher prices by cable and satellite TV services. The first shows will be available on November 1 and will launch in more than 100 countries.

Most of these are shows, while The Elephant Queen is a documentary.

Apple TV+ will launch with a slew of titles and be available in the TV app that is pre-installed on iPhones, iPads, iPod touches, Apple TVs, and Macs.
